Accept Ramsey County Sheriff s Safe & Sober Grant <br />Lt. Rosand noted the receipt of funds for the 2008-2009 Safe & Sober Grant Pro- <br />gram, in conjunction with the Ramsey County Sheriffls Office (RCSO), along <br />with the Police Departments of the Cities of New Brighton, Moundsview, St. An- <br />thony, White Bear Lake, and Maplewood. <br />At the request of Mayor Klausing, Lt. Rosand provided a brief description of the <br />program, with state funds assisting local agencies for overtime costs incurred in <br />promoting their regular campaigns. <br />Pust moved, Willmus seconded, acceptance of grant funds from the Ramsey <br />County Sheriff's Office to effectively participate in the 2008-2009 Safe & Sober <br />Campaign, with the City of Roseville's portion estimated to be approximately <br />$20,000, and awarded in conjunction with other Police Departments and the Ram- <br />sey County Sheriff's Office. <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Roe; Ihlan; Willmus; Pust; and Klausing. <br />Nays: None. <br />6.
