Call Roll <br />Mayor Klausing called to order the regular meeting of the Roseville City Council at ap- <br />proximately 6:00 p.m. and welcomed everyone. <br />Voting and Seating Order: Willmus; Roe; Ihlan; Pust and Klausing. <br />City Attorney Jay Squires was also present. <br />2. Approve Agenda <br />Councilmember Pust provided a bench handout, and requested an additional agenda item <br />for Council consideration of a Resolution of Support for the Northwest Youth and Family <br />Services Campaign for their work and private funding campaign to create a Discovery <br />Center. <br />Councilmember Ihlan requested that the item be postponed until the following meeting to <br />allow for sufficient public information and more detailed City Council review prior to <br />that meeting. Councilmembers concurred by consensus. <br />Councilmember Roe requested removal of Consent Items d and f for additional discus- <br />sion, respectively entitled, "Approve General Purchases and Sale of Surplus Items ex- <br />ceeding $5,000;" and "Approve Roseville Area High School Liaison Agreement." <br />Councilmember Roe clarified that Consent Item 7.e was requesting the City Council's <br />approval of the quarterly Imagine Roseville 2025 goals update from staff, as confirmed <br />by City Manager Malinen. <br />By consensus, the agenda was approved as amended. <br />3. Public Comment <br />Mayor Klausing called for public comment by members of the audience on any non- <br />agenda items. <br />a. Janet Delmore, Roseville I3uman Rights Commission Chairperson <br />Ms. Delmore thanked City Manager Malinen for his work with the Human Rights <br />Commission on the upcoming community dialogue opportunity scheduled for <br />Tuesday, October 14, 2008. Ms. Delmore advised that attendance was anticipated <br />to exceed 90 citizens. <br />
