Regular City Council Meeting Monday, November 10, 2008 Page 2 Bloom recognized Josh's family in the audience, as well as his troop leaders, and the rest of Troop 266. Mayor Klausing, on behalf of the City Council and citizens, thanked Josh for his work on the Bennett Lake Shoreline Restoration Project, in partnership with Prince of Peace Lutheran Church and the Ramsey Conservation District (RCD) to protect water quality, by creating a work plan, and organization logistics for the project to see to its completion. b. Recognize Ten Scouts that have achieved Eagle Rank Mayor Klausing noted how rare it was for ten scouts from one Troop to continue to this rank; and encouraged their continued involvement in the community and in their accomplishments, expressing the community's debt of gratitude for their leadership skills. Mayor Klausing, on behalf of the City Council and citizens, individually recog- nized those ten Boy Scouts in Roseville Troop 297 who had achieved the honor of Eagle Scout, and recognized their leaders and parents, and identified the specific projects each scout had completed. The Scouts are: Andrew Albing; Conor Holt; Ben Kendall; Steven McCann; Joe Mein; Joseph Mueller; Nathaniel Rowekamp; Jeff Sayler; Tyler Stuart; and Matthew Wolhowe. Tom Turba, assistant Scout Master, thanked Mayor Klausing and Councilmem- bers for recognizing the great work of the Scouts. Mr. Turba invited any prospec- tive scouts and their parents to attend an Open House on Monday, November 17, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at Roseville Lutheran Church. 6. Approve Minutes a. Approve Minutes of October 27, 2008 Regular Meeting Roe moved, Pust seconded, approval of the minutes of the October 27, 2008 Regular Meeting of the City Council as amended. Corrections: • Page 1, Line 31-32, delete paragraph • Page 6, Line 7-9, change date of staff report from November to October and correct abbreviation of BCA to "Bureau of Criminal Apprehension" • Page 12, Line 1 - 3, correct reference to discussion of Council's Rules of Pro- cedure and reference to Rule #3 • Page 13, correct statement of Councilmember Willmus, deleting reference to his willingness to surrender the Council seat prematurely. • Page 15, typographical corrections, line 24 and 28 Roll Call Ayes: Pust; Willmus; Roe; Ihlan; and Klausing.
