Regular City Council Meeting <br />Monday, November 10, 2008 <br />Page 2 <br />Bloom recognized Josh's family in the audience, as well as his troop leaders, and <br />the rest of Troop 266. <br />Mayor Klausing, on behalf of the City Council and citizens, thanked Josh for his <br />work on the Bennett Lake Shoreline Restoration Project, in partnership with <br />Prince of Peace Lutheran Church and the Ramsey Conservation District (RCD) to <br />protect water quality, by creating a work plan, and organization logistics for the <br />project to see to its completion. <br />b. Recognize Ten Scouts that have achieved Eagle Rank <br />Mayor Klausing noted how rare it was for ten scouts from one Troop to continue <br />to this rank; and encouraged their continued involvement in the community and in <br />their accomplishments, expressing the community's debt of gratitude for their <br />leadership skills. <br />Mayor Klausing, on behalf of the City Council and citizens, individually recog- <br />nized those ten Boy Scouts in Roseville Troop 297 who had achieved the honor of <br />Eagle Scout, and recognized their leaders and parents, and identified the specific <br />projects each scout had completed. The Scouts are: Andrew Albing; Conor Holt; <br />Ben Kendall; Steven McCann; Joe Mein; Joseph Mueller; Nathaniel Rowekamp; <br />Jeff Sayler; Tyler Stuart; and Matthew Wolhowe. <br />Tom Turba, assistant Scout Master, thanked Mayor Klausing and Councilmem- <br />bers for recognizing the great work of the Scouts. Mr. Turba invited any prospec- <br />tive scouts and their parents to attend an Open House on Monday, November 17, <br />2008 at 7:00 p.m. at Roseville Lutheran Church. <br />6. Approve Minutes of October 27, 2008 Regular Meeting <br />Roe moved, Pust seconded, approval of the minutes of the October 27, 2008 <br />Regular Meeting of the City Council as amended. <br />Corrections: <br />• Page 1, Line 31-32, delete paragraph <br />• Page 6, Line 7-9, change date of staff report from November to October and <br />correct abbreviation of BCA to "Bureau of Criminal Apprehension" <br />• Page 12, Line 1 - 3, correct reference to discussion of Council's Rules of Pro- <br />cedure and reference to Rule #3 <br />• Page 13, correct statement of Councilmember Willmus, deleting reference to <br />his willingness to surrender the Council seat prematurely. <br />• Page 15, typographical corrections, line 24 and 28 <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Pust; Willmus; Roe; Ihlan; and Klausing. <br />Nays: None. <br />
