Call to Order <br />Mayor Klausing called to order the regular meeting of the Roseville City Council at ap- <br />proximately 7:12 p.m. and welcomed everyone. <br />Voting and Seating Order for December: Ihlan; Willmus; Pust; Roe; and Klausing. <br />City Attorney Joe Langel was also present. <br />2. Approve Agenda <br />By consensus, the agenda was approved as presented. <br />Councilmember Roe offered clarification of comments made at the Truth-in-Taxation <br />Public Hearing regarding lighting around the City Hall campus and Skating Center, not- <br />ing that this was part of the Roseville Glows program sponsored by the Roseville Visi- <br />tors' Association, at their expense. <br />3. Public Comment <br />Mayor Klausing called for public comment by members of the audience on any non- <br />agenda items. <br />a. Cami Oren, 3150 W Owasso Boulevard <br />Ms. Oren expressed her lack of confidence in speaking up at the Truth-in-Taxation Hear- <br />ing; however, she noted that their home's value had gone down, but their taxes had gone <br />up, while their personal financial investments continued to decline. Ms. Oren opined that <br />they didn't have any more money available to pay more taxes, and opined that neither did <br />others in Roseville; that there just wasn't any more money to give. Ms. Oren asked that <br />Councilmembers be observant of what was going on with Roseville homeowners and <br />taxpayers, and make their decisions accordingly. Ms. Oren spoke in support of non- <br />residents paying higher user fees for using the skating center. <br />4. Council Communications, Reports, Announcements & Housing and Redevelopment <br />Authority (HRA) Report <br />
