City of j~~ Minnesota, USA Regular City Council Meeting Minutes City Hall Council Chambers, 2660 Civic Center Drive Monday, December 15, 2008 Public Reception A public reception in appreciation and farewell to Councilmember Bob Willmus was held in the City Hall lobby commencing at approximately 5:15 p.m., immediately prior to the regular busi- ness meeting. 1. Recognition, Presentation and Roll Call Mayor Klausing called to order the regular meeting of the Roseville City Council at ap- proximately 6:00 p.m. and welcomed everyone. Mayor Klausing recognized that this was Councilmember Willmus' final meeting and presented him with a Roseville Rose in recognition of his service to the City of Roseville. Mayor Klausing opined that it had been a pleasure serving with Councilmember Willmus on the City Council; that he as a citizen had served admirably especially in a difficult situation; and thanked Councilmember Willmus on behalf of the City Council, staff and citizens of Roseville. Councilmember Willmus expressed his appreciation and thanked staff and those citizens who had contacted him with their input on important items coming before the City Coun- cil during the last six months. Voting and Seating Order for December: Ihlan; Willmus; Pust; Roe; and Klausing. City Attorney Scott Anderson was also present. 2. Approve Agenda Councilmember Ihlan requested removal of Consent Item 7.h entitled, "Authorization to Request Proposals for Janitorial Services for City of Roseville Facilities," for discussion. Councilmember Roe clarified that Item 4.a entitled, "Accept $500 Donation from Target Corporation," actually belonged under Agenda Item 5. By consensus, the agenda was approved as amended. 3. Public Comment Mayor Klausing called for public comment by members of the audience on any non- agenda items.
