Business Items - Presentations/Discussions <br />a. Presentation of Energy Action Plan <br />Public Works Director Duane Schwartz provided a brief overview of a committee <br />of staff, under the directive of City Manager Malinen in August of 2008, in re- <br />sponse to high energy prices and a review of Roseville's current energy usage and <br />ways to reduce energy consumption and emissions of carbon dioxide city-wide. <br />Mr. Schwartz advised that the staff committee, named REACT (Roseville Energy <br />Action and Conservation Team) met five times over four months; after which they <br />put together a draft, as presented, of their main ideas and recommendations.
