Brentwood Town Offices should be allowed visible signage. Facade
signage would be more difficult to see than a ground sign. The existing trees
block a clear view of a facade or monument sign at the required setback.
Additionally, the site's grade at the optimal sign location slopes east toward the
parking lot adding to the visibility problems. Another factor staff has considered
is the amount of boulevard along Lexington Avenue. Currently, the east side of
Lexington Avenue has a boulevard from curb to property line of approximately 33
.feet.
