Attachment A ORDINAI�TCE NO. 1377 AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A HOUSII��G IMPROVEMEN'� AREA FOR THE W�STW04l) VILLAGE I TOWNHOUSES PURSUANT TO THE MiNNESOTA STATUTES CHAPTER 428A PREAMBLE: A. The City is autliorized under Minnesota Statutes Sectians 428A.11 through 428A21 to establish by ordinance housing improvement areas within which hausing improvements are made or construcied and the costs of those improvements are financed in whole or in part by the City which is repaid by fees imgosed upon ihe owners of housing units within the area. B. In accordance wifh Minnesota Statutes Section 428A.3 l, owners of 25% or niore of the housing units lacated within the Wesfwood Village I Townhouses f Ied for petition with the City requesting a public hearing regarding the establi�hment of a housing impravement area. C. 4n September 22, 2008 the City Council conducted a p�ablic hearing an the petition which hearing was duly noticEd in accordance with Minnesoia StatUte 42$A. l 3, subd. 2, at which all person, including awners of property within the hausing improvement area were given an op�ortunity to be heard. D. The City Council therefore has determined a need to establish the Westwood Vi�lage I Housing Improvement Area as defined herein in order to facilitate certain improvements to the property atl in accordance �ith the Housing Jmprovement Act. Now, therefore, the City of Roseville daes ardain: Section 1. PursuanE Eo Mrru�esota Statutes Chapter 428A there is hereby establisl�ed in the City of Roseville a ha�sing improvenne�7t area over property common]y known as Westwood Village I Townhouses. For the purpose of this Ordinance the City shall be imple�nenting Ageney. Sec€ion 2. Findings.
