Contractor agrees to work with the City to identify <br />additional reuse and recycling opportunities, and to dispose of these <br />identified materials at mutually agreed upon disposal sites. <br />Compensation to Contractor <br />1. Compensation: City agrees to pay Contractor as described in the <br />Proposal. City agrees to pay Contractor at the rates proposed by <br />Contractor in Attachment A. <br />2. Method of Pa,vment: Contractor shall submit itemized bills for material <br />collected. Bills submitted shall be paid in the same manner as other <br />claims made to the City. <br />Other Requirements <br />1. Term: Term means January 1, 2009 through December 31, 2011. <br />The Clean Up Day will be held the last Saturday in April each year of <br />the contract (April 25, 2009; April 24, 2010; April 30, 2011). <br />Upon mutual written agreement the City and Contractor may conduct <br />a fall Clean Up Day. <br />2. Severe Weather: The Clean Up Day may be postponed due to severe <br />weather at the sole discretion of Contractor. "Severe Weather" shall <br />include, but shall not be limited to, those cases where the temperature <br />at 6:00 a.m. is -25° F. or colder. <br />The Contractor will be responsible for notifying the residents by radio <br />and television announcements. The City will be responsible for <br />notifying the residents by municipal cable television. Upon <br />postponement, Contractor and City shall select a new Clean Up Day. <br />3. Equal O�portunit�r�. During the performance of the executed <br />contract, the Contractor, in compliance with Executive Order 11246, <br />as amended by Executive Order 11375 and Department of Labor <br />Regulations 41 CFR, Part 60, shall not discriminate against any <br />employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, <br />religion, sex, or national origin. The Contractor shall take affirmative <br />action to insure that applicants for employment are qualified, and <br />that employees are treated during employment, without regard to <br />their race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. <br />�? <br />
