~r~c~ ~1~~~`'~ <br />5~ i I ~ 0~ <br />Roseville Planning Commission <br />2009 Work Plan <br />/ Zoning Code/Map Update -The Planning Commission will be deeply involved in the <br />review and rewrite of the Roseville Zoning and Subdivision Code. The Planning <br />Commission will participate in the selection of a consultant to assist the City in <br />rewriting the code. The Planning Commission will also be actively engaged in <br />crafting and reviewing the new code throughout 2009. Below is a tentative schedule <br />for the work: <br />o Consideration of RFQ/RFP for the Zoning Code Rewrite - February 2009 <br />o Interview and selection of consultant -March-May 2009 <br />o Begin work with consultant -May 2009 <br />o Adoption of Zoning Code Rewrite -December 2009 -February 2010 <br />/ Master Plan Review -The 2030 Comprehensive Plan states that master plans adopted <br />before 2009 will be individually reviewed by the City Council to determine if it is still <br />relevant and if so, how it should be addressed in the 2030 Comprehensive Plan. At <br />this point, the City Council has not had a discussion on how this review will take place <br />and what the involvement of the Planning Commission will be. Nevertheless, staff is <br />preparing a list of pre-2009 Master Plans and has started a preliminary analysis of the <br />plans. It is expected that the discussion and disposition of the master plans will take <br />place within six months after final approval of the 2030 Comprehensive Plan. The <br />following master plans are currently part of the existing Comprehensive Plan. <br />0 1998 James Addition Report <br />o Cornerstone Program <br />o Twin Lakes Master Plan <br />o Tower Place <br />o Arona-Hamline Master Plan <br />o City Center Plan <br />/ Minor Zoning Amendments - As indicated above, the City will be doing a major <br />overhaul of the Zoning Code in 2009-2010. Since the whole project may not be <br />completed until early 2010, staff would like to undertake some minor revisions to the <br />code to tweak certain parts of the code that have been problematic. It is anticipated <br />that the Planning Commission will be considering several minor code amendments. <br />These include: <br />
