Regular City Council Meeting <br />Monday, May 18, 2009 <br />Page 4 <br />Mayor Klausing read specific proclamations for each Girl Scout achieving the <br />Gold Award; and presented personal Certificates from the City Council recogniz- <br />ing this achievement to each. <br />Ms. Gohl thanked her Scout Leader, Laurie Tierney, for her assistance through <br />her scouting career; and noted that there was one other recipient, a resident of Lit- <br />tle Canada, who had also achieved this achievement. <br />Roe moved, Pust seconded, recognition of Shannon Bauer, Tess (Teresa) Tierney, <br />Marisa Gohl, and Kathryn Galvin (not present), for their individual and respec- <br />tive leadership and as members of the Girls Scouts of Minnesota and Wisconsin <br />River Valleys, and the successful accomplishment in receiving the highest award <br />in Girl Scouting, the Girl Scout Gold Award and proclaiming May 18, 2009, as <br />Girl Scout Day in Roseville. <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Roe; Johnson; Ihlan; Pust; and Klausing. <br />Nays: None. <br />6. Approve Minutes <br />a. Approve Minutes of May 11, 2009 Regular Meeting <br />Pust moved, Johnson seconded, approval of the minutes of the May 11, 2009 <br />Regular Meeting as presented. <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Roe; Johnson; Ihlan; Pust; and Klausing. <br />Nays: None. <br />7. Approve Consent Agenda <br />There were no additional changes to the Consent Agenda than those previously noted. At <br />the request of Mayor Klausing, City Manager Bill Malinen briefly reviewed those items <br />being considered under the Consent Agenda. <br />a. Approve Payments <br />Roe moved, Johnson seconded, approval of the following claims and payments as <br />presented. <br />ACH Pa menu $908,254.32 <br />55093 - 55164 88,039.50 <br />Total $996,293.82 <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Roe; Johnson; Ihlan; Pust; and Klausing. <br />Nays: None. <br />
