The projects are 100% funded by the State Grant and staff is <br />12 continuing to work with the State to complete the project list. It is the aim to <br />13 complete as many of the projects as possible in 2009/2010 with the allotted grant <br />14 money. The approved project list in the grant agreement for a total grant award of <br />15 $600,000 was as follows: <br />16 <br />17 <br />18 <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />1) Install Facility Monitoring Equipment <br />• Install security cameras to monitor activity throughout facility especially <br />at building access points <br />• Maximize staffing efficiency and effectiveness by directing staff to <br />needed areas <br />22 2) OVAL Scoreboard/Timing Mechanism/Electronic Marquee sign <br />23 • Current technology is outdated and expensive to maintain <br />24 • Provide better service for regional, national and international events <br />25 • Expand marketing opportunities <br />26 • Ability to incorporate electronics into existing primary facility marquee <br />27 signage (County Road C) in order to reduce manual labor to change <br />28 and to increase promotions of the Guidant John Rose Minnesota <br />29 OVAL <br />30 <br />31 <br />32 <br />33 <br />34 <br />35 <br />3) Renovate Banquet Facility Kitchen <br />• The renovation would move the walk-in cooler to the existing storage <br />space next to the kitchen for easier caterer access in one room. It <br />would be more convenient for the caterers and less disruptive for the <br />users. <br />
