These firms had been asked invited to submit proposals based on their <br />statements of interest and qualifications, which they had submitted in mid-May 2007. <br />On August 13,2007, staff conducted interviews the three firms. In preparation for the <br />August 20 Joint City CouncillP�anning Commission Meeting, staff prepared a matrix <br />comparing each af the firm's approaches, emphasis of work, community participation <br />program, coordination description, and cost. City staff also asked each firm questions <br />regarding their process and knowledge of the City of Roseville. Responses to those <br />questions are also included in the matrix, which is attached to this report. <br />STAFF RECOMIVIENDATIONS: <br />The following is the recommended ti�neline to advance the Comprehensive Plan process: <br />Council Interviews August 27 <br />Final Selection August 27 <br />Finalize Contract September 7 <br />Proj ect Kick-off Meeting September 19 <br />Complete Work December 2008 <br />3.2 Based upon the interviews conducted by City staff, as well as the proposals submitted as <br />part of the proposal process, staff is recommending that two firms move forward to City <br />Council interviews on August 27, 2007.
