If the Council <br />desires to pursue these areas further, additional budget reallocations will need to be made. <br />2008 Budget Calendar <br />Earlier this year, the Council adopted the 2008 Budget Calendar. This is an important consideration because the City's <br />#�? programs and services are largely complimentary to each other. The purpose of this final discussion on the <br />Budget is to reach consensus on a final budget which will allow Staff to prepare a presentation <br />for the Truth-in-Taxation Hearing, scheduled for December 3, 2007. At this Hearing, Staff will <br />provide an overview of the amended budget and the impact on property tax payers. With this <br />information, property tax payers will be able to compare the preliminary property tax impact <br />identified on their Truth-in-Taxation Statements with the final impact. <br />Final Comments <br />Staff will be available at the meeting to answer any Council inquiries. <br />� <br />
