payment estimates and change order procedures. <br />Frost removal - If frost removal is necessary we can be on-site, at your request, to <br />adequately monitor the method of removal and replacement of the s�b�rade <br />material. The cost of performing the frost removal and engineering and on-site <br />services during the site removal is not included in our proposal. <br />� Perimeter slab (2 hours on-site) - Observe the final installation of the perimeter slab <br />reinforcement and forms where replacement is required. <br />Sub-floorheat piping (3 hours on-sife)-Observe installation of piping grid, including <br />general layout, workmanship of joints and pressure test. <br />■ Floor insulafion (3 hours on-sife) - Observe final installation of sand subbase and <br />beginning installation of ice rink floorinsulation. Discuss with contractorthe method <br />of installation for the insulation, header piping, and refrigeration piping. <br />Floor piping (4 hours on-sife) - Observe beginning installation of the ice rink floor <br />piping to assure proper procedures are being followed regarding pipe connections, <br />pipe supports, placement of outside pipe ring, and connections to header pipe. Th's <br />is also the time to start checking vertical and horizontal tolerances of thefloor piping. <br />Refrigerafion equipment inspection (Two visits, 2-hours on-site each). Observe <br />installation and repair or refrigerationequipment, piping, and othersy� within the <br />mechanicalroom and the cooling tower. Check equipment, equipmentcondition, <br />and piping clearances, piping supports, material conformance, etc. During the first <br />of these visits we would also likely check the final installation of the rink piping prior to <br />the installation of the sand. <br />Final inspectionlice equipment starf up (3 hours on-site). PerForm a final walk <br />through of the systems generating a list of items (punchlist) to be completed. Discuss <br />start up and shut down procedures of the new equipmentwith the contractorand <br />Owner. Review Operation and Maintenance of the new equipment with the <br />contractor and Owner. VUih�ess and document start up of equipment. <br />Confracf Administration- We will also provide shop drawing review of equipment <br />and materials used on the project. V� will perform construction administration tasks <br />such as reviewing and processing pay requests, change orders and documenting <br />the project's progress. <br />PROJECT SCHEDULE <br />The project schedulewill affect the cost of the project. Outlined below's a recommended <br />schedule for this project. Recently, delays inreceiving equipmentand some materials have <br />been a concern.
