Fa-example, a <br />direct sand floorreplacementproject, typically, will take 12 to 14 weeks. The improvements <br />to the refrigeration system can be performed at the same time. The schedule could be <br />shortened some but at an added cost to the project. <br />COMPENSATION <br />We will provide the professional engineering services as outlined in this proposal for the <br />following compensation: <br />Design Phase Services (fasks 1 through 3): Houriy, Not-to-Exceed $30,200 <br />Construction Phase Services (f�k4): Houriy, Not-to-Exceed $8,500 <br />Other required design services will be provided on an hourly basis in accordance with the <br />General Engineering Fee Schedule in addition to the fee stated above. <br />Reimbursable e�enses are included in the fees stated above. <br />The City will be responsiblefor all application and permit fees. We will bil the City monthly <br />for our services. We will wori< with you, the City and its staff to provide this service as <br />efficiently as possible to minimize our fees. <br />If frost's encountered, the City will be responsiblefor the cost of removing the frost and all <br />testing associated with the 5ubgrade preparation. VUe will provide Supplemental Services <br />pre-approved by the City on an hourly basis in accordance with the General Engineering <br />Fee Schedule plus reimbursable expenses. B�ic services and reimbursableexpenseswill be <br />billed monthly. <br />ADDITIONALTERMS AND CONDITIONS <br />If there are protracted delaysfor reasons beyond our control, we would expect to negotiate <br />with the City an equitable adjustment of our compensation taking into consideration the <br />impact of such delay. <br />We requestthat the City fumish us with full information � to their requirementsincluding any <br />special or e�raordinary considerations for the Project or special services needed, and also <br />to make available all pertinent existing data. <br />We propose that our services will be provided under the General Provisions consisting of two <br />pages and one page of General Engineering Fee Schedule which are attached to and <br />made a part of our agreement for services for the designand construction phases of ihis <br />Mr. Lonnie Brokke, Director of Parks and Recreation <br />August 4,2006 Page 6 of 7 <br />
