V�C a�ad VPTC The MPGA typieally addresses the nnajarity ofbror�vnfelds cor�taminated sites wit�ain the City in one of two separate, bu� related remediation prograi�ns. Tl�� first being tk�e VIC �arogram which addresses hazardous subs�ance releases and is au�horized by the Minnesota Environmental Response and Liability flct {MERLA) under Mii�n. Stat §� 115B. T�e second is t�e Voluntary Petrole�m Investigatio� and Cieanup (VPIC) progrann which addresses petroleuin releases and reeeives it's authority from Minn. Stat �§ 115C the Petroleum Release Act.
