Discuss Park Dedication Fees <br />Pa���s and Recreation Commission Chair Jeff Johnson, along with other <br />members of the Parks and Recreation Commission were present during this <br />presentation, as previously noted. <br />Mr. Brokke noted that, at the December 4, 2006 City Council meeting, staff <br />and the Commission recommended an increase to the residential park <br />dedication fee from $1,000 to $2,000 per unit, while maintaining <br />eo�nmercial/in�us�ia� dedication fees at their current five percent. At that <br />time, the City Council had requested additional background and comparison <br />information prior to approving such an increase. <br />�� Staff had included the information, as requested, and including the current <br />�� park dedication ordinance and Park Dedication State Statute; a summary of <br />�� law changes; the proposed revised fee schedule for 2007; and a list of local <br />�� property tax comparison cities and their respective park dedication fees. <br />�{� <br />
