Mayor Klausing advised that, in future, he would provide information of such events to the City Council and staff for posting as a Special Council meeting in case other Councilmembers were able to attend and a quorum was present at such an event. 2.d Minnesota Block Exercise 2.e Mayor Klausing mentioned his attendance at a Regional Conference of Mayors and a presentation on the Metropolitan Housing Corridor's Minnesota Block Exercise and the possible merits of such a program (i.e., early phases of Twin Lakes redevelopment) in providing citizens with an opportunity to measure costs for different types of housing with areas of interest to achieve some balance for redevelopmentpro- jects. Mayor Klausing noted that grants were available, and deferred to Community Development Director John Stark; asking that he look into the program, and provide additional information to the City Council at a future date, in an effort to encourage citizen involvement and participation in redevelopment projects. Residential Lot Split Study Task Force Councilmember �h�an announced that there was still time for inter- ested citizens to apply (before the February 20 deadline) to participate in the Moratorium Study and encouraged those interested to contact staff.
