Mr. Samuel apologized for the applicant not being present, due to <br />� weather-related issues, as they were stranded in Ohio. <br />� <br />� Mr. Samuel provided additional aerial presentations and site plans indicating <br />� traffic flow on site; truck deliveries off County Road B; shared access with <br />� the daycare to Fairview; other ingress/egress points; stormwater manage- <br />� ment with an underground system; and timing of deliveries in late evening <br />�� or very early morning, that would not conflict with the daycare traffic. <br />'1 � <br />1: Mayor Klausing called for public comment at this time. <br />12 <br />y � Public Comment <br />t� Gladys Reiling,1877 Gluek Lane, across street from proposed construc- <br />15 tion <br />1� Ms. Reiling, identifying herself as the author of the written letter of opposi- <br />��' tion previously noted, opined that this proposal was not compatible with sur- <br />1� rounding properties; and negatively impacted their health and property, with <br />1� constant emissions of car exhaust while vehicles were waiting in line for <br />�� coffee. Ms. Reiling also addressed negative impacts of increased traffic at <br />� 1 this intersection with no barrier to provide added protection. <br />��� <br />�3 Arvid Knudtson,1854 G1uekLane <br />�� Mr. Knudtson concurred with Ms. Reiling; and expressed confusion and <br />�� frus�ration with the mailed notice provided by the City to area residents; <br />�� opining that the information and the map was misleading. <br />�� <br />�� <br />�� <br />�� <br />�1 <br />3� <br />�� <br />�� <br />Mr. Stark provided an overhead view of the actual post card mailing and the <br />information �xr�r��j �k�d_ <br />Ms. Reiling spoke again, noting that when the post card notice was received, <br />the neighbors thought the property in question was on the north side of <br />Highway 36, where the existing Starbucks was located. <br />�� Brad Peper,1835 Gluek Lane <br />;��} Mr. Peper questioned how many trees would remain in the natural area along <br />� f Fairview; anticipating increased headlight pollution directed at his house <br />�� without adequate screening. <br />
