This system statement summarizes significant elements of the metropolitan <br />system plan and highlights those elements that apply specifically to your community. In <br />addition to reviewing this system statement, your coin��u��ity should consult the entire 2030 <br />Regional Parks Policy Plan, the 2030 Regional 13e��elop��ent �"�^arraework and other pertinent <br />regional planning and policy documents to ensure your community's local comprehensive plan <br />and plan amendments conform to the ��etropolitan system plans. Paul, three regional trails — Trout Broolc, Su��zxt��: Avenue, and <br />Lexington Pa�•lcway <br />� Acquire and develop three new parlcs. Search areas includet <br />* Northwestern Anoka County <br />� Empire Township in Dalcota County. Please note that the Metropolitan Council approved a <br />parlc master plan and a boundary for the parlc has been established. <br />� Blalceley Township in Scott County <br />./ Acquire and develop seven new trails. Search areas include: <br />* The Crow River, in Carver County and Three Rivers Parlc District <br />+ Both a aaortk�lsouth and an eas�/west trail traversing Dalcota County <br />� An easfJwest trail traversing Scott County <br />� In Three Rivers Parlc District, a trail connecting parts of Balcer Parlc Reserve; a trail <br />connecting Balcer and Crow-Hassan Parlc Reserves; and a trail connecting Crow-Hassan <br />and Eli� Creelc Parlc Reserves <br />✓ Acquire land within the current boundaries of 30 existing parlcs and four trails. <br />r/ Acquire natural-resource lands adj acent to six existing parlcs and six existing trails. <br />P-'_ <br />
