To meet the needs of the region beyo�ld 2030, the Council proposes four new regional parlcs or <br />reserves and three new trails be acquired. These parks and trails would �1oi: be developed until <br />after 2030, but the opportunity to acquire them will lilcely be lost i�'tl�e lands aren't identiiied and <br />purchased before 2030. The goal is to complete the acquisition of the regional �arlc syete� and <br />secure oppoi-�unitie� for future generations. Search areas include: <br />+� Parks — Miller Lake area and Minnesota River Bluff ��� Ravines in C����� County; <br />s�n�t�n�e����-�n Dakota County; a�a� Cedar Lake area in Scott County. <br />�` Trails — northwestern �a��&� County; central to south ��a-���- County; �rt�] Minnesota <br />River to Spring Lake in Scott County. <br />� <br />
