EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CT'I"�` f)�` ROSE�VILLE <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 26 day of March, 2007, at 6:00 p.m. <br />The following members were present:; <br />and the following were absent; <br />Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />A RESOLUTION VACATING A PORTION OF A PEDESTRIAN PATHWAY <br />EASEMENT IN THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF PROPERTY ADDRESSED AT <br />2700 SNELLING AVENUE (PF07-014} <br />WHEREAS, MSP Commercial in cooperation with JLT Roseville Corporate Center LLC <br />have requested the vacation of a portion of �he pedestrian pathway easement that lies in the <br />northeast corner of the parcel, to necessitate the recording of the subdivision plat Venture 4 <br />Addition; and <br />WHEREAS, the currentpedestrian pathway easement lies in the northeast corner of the <br />properiy at 2700 Snelling Avenue, legally described as: <br />LOT 3, BLOCK 1, VENTURE ADDITION <br />PIN: 13-29-23-33-0001 <br />WHEREAS, the original easement was recorded in 2003 (Document No. 3795937) and <br />provided the City with the land area necessaryto construct a pedestrian trail around the adjacent <br />pond; and <br />WHEREAS, a the Ramsey County Surveyor has determined that the subdivision plat <br />approved by the Roseville City Council on July 19,2006 cannot be recorded in its current state; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, The Roseville Planning Staff has concluded that the vacation and <br />rededication of the subject easement lying on Lot 3, Block l, Venture Addition is the most <br />appropriate and practical method to allow the MSP Commercial land division to be recorded; and <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission held a public hearing regarding the <br />pedestrian pathway easement vacation on March 7,2007 and voted (6-0) to recommend <br />approval, based on the findings of Section 5 of the Planning Commissionproject report dated <br />March 7,2007; <br />I �f 3 <br />
