Report on Executive Session - Twin Lake Litigation Strategy <br />� Present: (Votingand Seating Order) Councilmembers Roe; Kough; Pust; <br />1� Ihlan; and Mayor Klausing. Also present: City Attorneys Scott <br />1 i Anderson, and City Attorney Paul Reuvers from the League of Minnesota <br />l� Cities Insurance Trust (LMCTT); City Manager Bill Malinen, Finance <br />13 Director Chris Miller; and Community DevelopmentDirectorJohn Stark. <br />14� <br />15 City Attorney Anderson advised that the Open Meeting law requires the <br />16 City, prior to closing a meeting, to state the grounds allowing closure and <br />1 t to describe the subject to be discussed. City Attorney Anderson advised <br />�� that according to Minnesota Statute Section13D.05 of the Open Meeting <br />�� Lavv,clasure was permitted under the a�torney/client privilege. City <br />�� Attorney Anderson then stated that Mr. Reuvers, the City's attorney in <br />�1 the lawsuit with the Twin Lakes Developer's would speak to the Council <br />�� to report on developments in the pending case, and to have a discussion <br />��3 of strategy and tactics and options facing the City in the case. <br />�� <br />�5 Mayor Klausing opened the Special Meeting in Open Session. On a <br />��} unanimous vote (5/0), the meeting was closed and the Council convened <br />�'� in Executive Session at 5:0� p.m. Mayor Klausing adjourned the meeting <br />�� <br />�� <br />3�k <br />�� <br />3� <br />at 5:54 p.m. <br />2.
