MEETING CONCLUSIONS
The Advisory Group asked Councilperson Pust, who was an observer to the meeting, as to what
the she believed the City Council's expectations were for Advisory Group recommendations at
the end of the study. Generally the group was questioning if they had sufficient time remaining
to draft a full set of recommendations on all of the questions the Council had tasked them with
prior to te expiration of the moratorium. Councilperson Pust suggested that the Council was
looking for a general set of guidelines from which to base future decisions on single-family lot
splits. From her perspective, she would like to know, prior to the end of the moratorium, whether
the Advisory Group recommends allowing single-family lot splits in the future. Pust added that it
seemed reasonable to her that if the Advisory Group felt it needed more time to develop specific
recommendations in certain areas that it should request such additional time from the Council at
the end of its current study.
The Advisory Group began to discuss how it would move forward. They discussed adding
additional meetings prior to the ending of the moratorium or providing the City Council with a
general recommendations regarding lot splits and asking for more time after the moratorium to
further refine recommended policy on lot splits. No decision was made during the meeting.
During the meeting the Advisory Group members present felt they reached consensus that lot
splits should not be prohibited in Roseville; however, they did not reach any conclusions as to
what type of regulations should be put into place.
March 22 Meeting Summary Page 3 of 3
