✓ Stormwater management <br />✓ Environmental impact <br />➢ Consensus Recommendation: Consider creating incentives for sustainable <br />development <br />✓ Tree preservation: <br />➢ Consensus Recommendation: The City Council should consider a tree <br />preservation and replacement ordinance separate from the lot split study. <br />✓ Neighborhood Character <br />➢ No Recommendation: The Advisory Group failed to come to consensus or a <br />majority agreement that neighborhood character warrants further study. <br />NEIGHBORHOOD CHARACTER <br />Advisory Group Member Gary Grefenburg brought a revised draft of his neighborhood character <br />definition and research document. He brought forward language from the preambles or <br />introductions of other communities' subdivision ordinances. Many of these sections discuss or <br />describe neighborhood character as a rational for the zoning ordinance. He would like the to add <br />a recommendation to those the Advisory Group is preparing that the City Council amend the <br />introductory language of Roseville's zoning code to include neighborhood character one of the <br />reasons for the ordinance being in place.
