Single-Family Residential Lot Split Study
■ But not one of the 952 to 978 homes. We love our long lot with woods and animal life at 928. I would buy in this
location if one had such a wonderful lot size.
■ Great location - central for Mpls. and St. Paul; younger families are moving here = more kids to grow-up and play
together.
■ Too expensive.
■ Financially I had (and still have) the ability to live in any community I choose. In 1996 I chose to purchase my 1-acre
lot because of LOCATION. It was QUIET, on a semi-private road, and all of the surrounding neighbors appreciated
(and paid for) the luxury of large, quiet lots. Roseville has few areas like the Chatsworth/Shryer area. It has been
forever damaged and my allegiance to this area had been damaged. I attended all city council meetings to have a voice
and address this issue and signed petitions, yet the city council chair railroaded the issue.
■ The developer may try to entice more homeowners to sell, to build more developments on the street. 10 McMansions
built on 3 3/4 acres - isn't this a bit much?
■ House (lot to build) was chosen for convenience of location and size for gardening. Might not buy in Roseville if
available lot sizes become too small for large gardens.
■ Not in the specific location we are at It ruined our property.
■ Maybe.
■ It's Roseville.
■ Love the location.
■ Great neighborhood, good people, well kept properties.
■ Area not as attractive as it once was - trees have been removed, Brooks Ave. and Hamline have been widened.
■ Traffic has increased exponentially on Hamline and will only get worse with planned development at Hamline Center.
Wide, straight street (Brooks) encourages speeding traffic in front of my house. New McMansions on the sub-divided
lots loom over neighboring properties.
■ Area is well-maintained and convenient to everything.
■ It is convenient to both cities, close to shopping and my church. And Central Park is a very large attraction.
■ Roseville is a wonderful 1st ring suburb. Our neighborhoods are very well kept The city is run very well. I've lived on
my property for 30 years, and wouldn't move.
■ Love Roseville for its convenience and amenities.
■ It is a nice, friendly residential neighborhood.
■ It's a nice neighborhood but I'm afraid the $500,000 houses will raise my taYes and I'm retired on fixed income.
■ Single-family homes, close to park, large lots.
■ It is a well kept area.
■ Very nice safe neighborhood.
lLlLUU l 1)r 5 of 5
