The house next door to the new lot is overwhelmed by one new house going up there. <br />■ The area now looks crowded. <br />■ Second home is sitting no [t] finished and no sign of work being done. They are allowing oversize homes to be built <br />for area. Acorn Road has terrible large home built on small lot? <br />Habitat/Open Space/Trees <br />■ As mentioned above in #2. To add - the developers should be required to replace even a portion of the trees removed <br />for building. Noise, dust, dirt, etc. in construction. Yes, I know we have to put up w/ home improvements - but a <br />demolition, tree-razing, and two new houses is a lot. <br />■ We have lost a wooded area. More housing changes traffic, etc. - however, more negative <br />was traffic from group home in neighborhood. <br />5. Overall, we like Roseville and hope the school district will continue to improve <br />and receive community support. <br />Fit/Context of Neighborhood <br />■ Not sure. We like our home but the dangerous walking on County B and the subdivision of large lots make the area <br />less attractive than we anticipated. See attached comments pertaining to 2161 County Road B. <br />Location <br />■ Location to downtown Minneapolis. Overall, we like Roseville and hope the school district will continue to improve <br />and receive community support. <br />■ Great location to highway, stores, restaurants, etc. <br />■ Absolutely. Great location, great neighborhood. <br />■ Everything considered it is a great neighborhood, neighbors, shopping, convenient to the Twin Cities. <br />Property Value <br />■ I would want a big lot that goes along with the increase in housing costs. <br />Traffic <br />■ Difficult to walk on Cty B, not good community connection to neighborhood, no sidewalk, too dangerous to access <br />the other streets. <br />■ Not sure.
