DRAFT Regular City Council Meeting <br />Monday, May 21,2007 <br />Page 24 <br />l Mayor Klausing recognized the work of the Citizen's Advisory <br />� Committee, and clarified that the City Council was not attempting to <br />� start the process over, but wanted to allow sufficient public comment <br />� on the proposed recommendations. <br />� <br />� With Council consensus, staff was directed to schedule a public meet- <br />� ing on June J.1, 2007 to hear public comment on the lot split study re- <br />�s port; and to use all available and regular media contact procedures to <br />�� solicit public input. <br />] i� <br />1L <br />I� <br />1;� <br />l� <br />1� <br />h6 <br />l '� <br />18 <br />l9 <br />It was anticipated that the City Council, at their July Study Session, <br />would begin to consider steps to incorporate the recommendations <br />into City Code. <br />Tam McGehee, 77 Mid Oaks <br />Ms. McGehee questioned why the previously-submitted recommenda- <br />tions, and signatures of over 60 people had not been incorporated into <br />the last City Council minutes, as she had provided as a bench handout. <br />�� Mayor Klausing apologized for the oversight and assured Ms. NicGe- <br />�� hee that the document would be provided to the City Council and in- <br />�� corporated into the next packet of related information. <br />�� <br />�� <br />�� <br />�� <br />�� <br />2� <br />2� <br />�� <br />31 <br />�� <br />3� <br />34 <br />3 �� <br />��� <br />�� <br />�� <br />Ms. McGehee opined that many residents had not been aware of the <br />study and sought to present the recommendations at this time. <br />Mayor Klausing respectfully requested that Ms. McGehee wait until <br />the June ��, 2007 meeting when other public comment was heard. <br />Ms. McGehee asked that the above-referenced citizen recommenda- <br />tion be included on the City's websi�e. <br />Councilmember Pust observed that there may be many opinions that <br />were not published on the City's w�bsite and opined that all members <br />of the public have the same opportunity to comment and could do so. <br />Considerable discussion was held regarding whether to publish a pub- <br />lic "meeting" or public "hearing;" with City Attorney Squires opining <br />
