On June 13, 2005 the City Council adopted a resolution authorizing <br />Council Member Maschka, City Manager Beets and Parks and Recreation <br />Director Brokke to meet with State Legislators and other appropriate <br />persons to work toward state bonding approval for improvements at the <br />OVAL. <br />. On June 15, 2005 a$960,000 capital budget request was officially <br />submitted to the State of Minnesota for projects at the John Rose <br />Minnesota OVAL. No specific design work or plans have been completed <br />for these projects. (Attached is a copy of the official submission). <br />. On June 20,2005 the OVAL Task Force recommended pursuing state <br />capital bonding funds for improvements at the OVAL <br />� On October 24,2005 the City Council passed a confirming resolution <br />supporting the request for State funds in the amount of $960,000 for <br />capital improvements and renovations to the Guidant John Rose <br />Minnesota OVAL (Attached is a copy of the resolution). <br />
