Draft Revised: 11-08-05; O1-23-06 <br />City of Roseville Comprehensive Plan �2006) <br />� PUBLIC PARTICIPATIONPLAN <br />a Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 473 requires cities to update their Comprehensive Plan <br />� ("Plan") in accordance with the Metropolitan Council. In 2007 all cities within the Twin <br />� Cities Metropolitan Area must submit plan revisions to the Metropolitan Council <br />� demonstrating consistency with the Metropolitan Council's System Statement. <br />!� Roseville's Planning Commission is designated as the body to hold public hearings on <br />� any proposed amendments to the City's Plan. Under Minnesota Statutes, Section <br />��i 462.355, the City must provide for hearings, and should encourage public participation, <br />i i including open discussion, communication programs, information services and public <br />�� meetings for which advance notice has been provided in the preparation and adoption of a <br />I� comprehensive plan. What follows are the procedures useful to the Planning Commission <br />E-� for ensuring appropriate public participation in the review and amendment of the <br />i� Comprehensive Plan..
