Over t�e past several months, the City af Narth Oa�CS an� the City n�' Roseville have held on-gai�g discussions in regards ta the sharing c�f i�z£ormation �echnala�y ,suppart sexvices. The City oi Roseville currentiy e�plays five fiill-time employees to a��inister tl�e City's information systems, and we are in the p�ocess oi addin� 1 ac�ditional emp�oyee. Th.c C�ty ma�z�tains joint por��rs agree�ents wi�h sixtiee� {16} municipalities and public agencies to provide similar suppart. T�c p�rc�pased JPA w�th �he City of Nort� Oaks is similar tn the ot�er Agreements in both s�ructure and substance. Discussion I�ems �� an effort to ensure adequate informaiian technology support and fielephon� ser�zce, �he City af NarGh: Oa�CS wishes to engage �he Cziy of Roseville in a joint powers agreeme�t. Staff believes that the City of Roseville can pz'avide the iechnieal support and telephone service €iesired by �he City of North Oa�CS withou� co�npromisin�; services to Roseville. The attached JPA has be�n approved by the City oi North 4aks and is awaiting approval from the Ro�eville City Council.
