The VFW do�s not contest the fact that thz;� violatio� <br />took place. Your server did indeed provid� alcohol to a minuar. <br />Aceardingly, the Police Chief sent you � natice fining you $5+�0 and <br />suspendi�g your liquar license for o�.e�day. This is th�: pen��lty <br />prescribed under the Roseville City Code. (Yaur establishme_r�t did not� <br />qualify for a lesser sanctian under the Ciiy Cnde because you da not <br />participate in the City's Op�onai M�nager and Server Traini:ng Program. <br />Participants in that Prpgram aare sub�ect ta lesser sanctions for �ic�uo� <br />violatioz�s in re�urn fnr licensees cartyzng aut a robust and a.ggressive <br />._... ,lzquor traz�ing progr�� for each er�.ploy�e.�y�k�a s�rves alcoht�l.) . . <br />�- At ihe heaz-in� you presented cez�tairi infaz�maiion in zx�itigati��n of the' - � <br />violatian. Specifieally, you �xpla�n tha� yaur server knew th+; Roseville <br />afficer performin� th� compliance check and she assurz�ed t��;e af�'icer <br />wc�uld not talerate an und�r-a�e youth requesting alcohol. T�ez-efore, <br />your se�-v�er assumed the individual was noi undez'-age and .�he provided <br />liqunr without ehecking the individ�.tal's identificatian. <br />Far the falio�ring reasons, I have decided ro accept th� mitig��tian <br />testirnony: <br />� The derneanor of yourself and the Gorr�mander sugg�sts to.rr�e �hat _ <br />you iake your liquor searving duties very seriously; .. <br />• You ack�.owledge that serving alcohol to minors is a sf�rious <br />oifense; and <br />
