Councilmember IVlaschka questioned whethex there wa� actually a problem that existed; and no�ed the addiiional notif cation �'o�r eomprehensive and comp�ex p�-ojects (i.e., Twin Lakes). Cauncilmcmber Kough spoke in support of Mr. Roe's suggested polzcy. Mayor Klausing requesi�d staf�'s c�teria �o� deviaiing from standard paractice and increasing the noti�catinn area. N�r. Welsch advised �hat there was no wrrtten critex�a used by staff, but depending on the neighbaz-hoad and physica� boundaries, discrei�on was used in whe�her the notice aarea shou�d be expanded. Mr. Welsch concurred wi�h MTr. Roe's p�oposed noticc poliey; by usi�g th� greatest dimension of the staf�'; and opined it wou�d be an easy soiutian for sta££ to fol�ow. A�er fi�riher discussion, i� was the Council consensus to direct staff to ut��ize the notice outlined by Mr. Roe, in add�tian to Sta�e �tatute 462.357, Subd. 3. 6.
