CITY OF ROSEV�LLE <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT <br />CONSULTANT SERVICES AGREEMENT <br />THIS IS AN AGREEMENT entered into the _ day of , 2006 by and <br />between the City of Roseville, Min�esota, hereinafter referred to as the City, and Economic <br />Development Services, organized and exis#ing under the laws af the State of Minnesota as sole <br />proprietorship, hereinafter referred to as the Consultant. <br />WITNESSETH: <br />W�IEREAS, the City desires to hire Economic Development Services and enter into a <br />Prnfessional Services Cansulting Agreement for work in connectio� with the City's Cammunity <br />Developn�e�t Department and the Roseville Visitors Assaciation. <br />THEREFORE, the parties hereta do �nutualiy agree as fo�lows: <br />I. SCOPE OF SERVICES. <br />The Consultant shall perfiorm necessary and r�quested services to help develop a strategy to <br />strengthen communication between Raseville area businesses, and the City's Community <br />Development Department. The Consultant wzll also facilitate cooperative efforts wit� the <br />Roseville Visitors Association. The cansultant will assist with implementation oF�he starategy <br />s�mmarized as follows. <br />A. Update the "BusinessLink" Iist of Roseville area businesses targeted by t�e Comz�aunity <br />Developmeni Department (business demographics, contact information and mailing list). <br />Identify o#her target markets; provide data. T�is list will be shared wit� the Raseville <br />Visitors Association and supplemented by the RVA to address regional markets. <br />Estimated cost comn�uniry development: $1,250. <br />B. Build the cammunity's connection with targeted area businesses by preparing a quarterly <br />e-mail newsletter. (Roseville Vasitors Association to �elp build and update the <br />BusinessLir�k e-mail Iist developed by the Community Development Departrz�ent.) <br />Estimated cost: $1,200. CD Department share: �600. <br />C. General bnsiness re#ention strategyldevelopment, praject coordination with the RVA, <br />xnee�ings and communication with Community Developrnent and RVA staf% <br />Estimated cost.�$300. <br />Not to exceed subtotal: Community Development Business Retention Cansulting: �2,IS0. <br />D. Other duties as assigned by the Community Development Director. (Hourly rate of $125/ <br />hour) <br />Not to exceed total for Community Development Departtnent. $4,500 <br />
