EXTRACT �F M�NUTES OF MEET�NG �F THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Rose�ille, County of Raxrasey, Manu�esota, was held on tYze 27�` day af February, 2006, at 6:00 p.m. The foIlowing members were present: Council Member introduced the following resolutian and moved its adaption: RESOLUTION NO. A RE50LC�TION APPROVTNG A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR BIG CITY VENTURES, INC AND OOPS THEATER, IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 1033 OF THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE, ALLOWING "LIVE ENTERTATNMENT" WTTHTN A PORTION OF THE LOWER LEVEL BANQUET AREA OF THE RESTAURANT AT 2801 SNELLING AVENUE {PF3709) WHEREAS, Big City Vent�u�es, Inc. and Oops Theater have requested a CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT in accordance with Section 1013 of the Roseville City Code ta allow "live entertaianar�e�t" (dinner theater) to occupt a portian of the existing lower lever �anquet area of Big City Tavern; and WHEREAS, the praperty 2801 Snelling Avenue is legally descaribed as: Lo� 2, Block 1, SIa�vik Park Secornd Addition and the vacated stree� accruing and part of the Nor�h 376.46 feet of Outlot C Slawik Park, lying Sauth of the Northeasterly line of Lot 2, Block 1 Slawik Park Second Additian, excluding the Sauth 50 feet PIN 04-29-23-41-004I WHEREAS, Section 1005.015 requires "live entertainment" when assaciated witY� a Class IV — Traditiona� restaurant to receive a Conditional Use Permit consistent with Section 1013 of the Rosevilie City Code; and WHEREAS, the propasal by Big City Ventures and Oops Theater seeks to utilize the Twin Cities Room (lower lever banquet roozz�} within the Big City Tavern as a dinner theater; �a WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on February 1, 2006 concluding ti�at the proposal is consistent with the criteria of Section 1013 of the Roseville City Code; WHEREAS, the Planning Commission voted {6-0) to recammend apprava� of the request, subject to 4 conditions.
