The congregation is <br />currentIy working with Miller D�nwiddie Architecture in developing Schematic Design Documents <br />encnmpassing a two phase addition, whic� includes: <br />• Phase 1: Entry addition, Elevatar, Accessibie tailet and gathering space renovatian. <br />• P1�ase lb: Cl�ssroom additinn, offces, library. <br />The attached drawings show the character and size af the proposed expansion. The location of the <br />expanszon areas da not encroach upon the site setback requirements. Minimat imgacr to the existing <br />parking lot and drainage is proposed. The 1ocal Rice Creck Watershed District has been contacted and <br />has waived the need ta pernut the praject (see attaehed err�ail}_ <br />The function of the spaces wichin the addition will not increase the traff'ic or parking capacity of the si�e. <br />The site plan noies the parking requirements and the current parking lots pravide sufficient spaces far <br />the activities of the church. <br />Builc3ing materials and forms are compatible witl� the existing structure. These include hrick, aluminum <br />windows and entry doors, anci metal entry roof. A signiiicant landscaped entry area will provide for <br />visuai identity af the entry as weli as th� possibility far small ourdoor waicing. The use of sidewalk and <br />curb in the new areas will increase the safety of the er�iry area by cIear distinction of vehicie and <br />pedesirian areas. <br />
