This pathway was appraved far constr�.�ction by the City Council on January 25, 2Q06 as a <br />pazt of the Roselawr� Reconstruction project Public Hearing. Since this is a joint project with the <br />Ciiy of Roseville, they have requested that we provide t�ez�a a resalution of support for the <br />application. <br />Fi�.ancia� implicatians: This grant could provide up to $100,000 towarc� the constructian af the <br />pathway along the south side of Roselawn Avenue. If we areceive this grant it would offset <br />construction costs for the Raselawn Reconstruction Project, curr�ntly estirr�ated at $1,131,996.54. <br />The Roseville cost share, far road and pathway, of $420,929.69. <br />Staff recammendation: Staff reeommends that the City Counci� pass the attach�d r�solution in <br />support of the grant ap�lication. <br />RECOMMENDED COUNCIL ACTION: <br />Adoption of resalution supporting the application for a 2006 Local Trail Connections Grant for the <br />Roselawn Avenue pathway. <br />Prepared by: Debra Bloom <br />
