But the <br />news gets e�en better. Ramsey County recently committed $b50,000 and the <br />MetropoIitan Council camrnitted $692,000 for the environ�tnental clean-up project. <br />Roseville will be eligible to seek additional func�ing from the Met Council in 2006. <br />Roseville will use the funds to help clean �5.5 acres within the 280 acre redevelopment area <br />knawn a�s Twin Lakes. The land was used as a trucking tern�inal. Cantamination includes both <br />petroleum and non-petroleurn contamiz�ants in the soil and water. The City expects to add 540 <br />homes, 246,000 square feet of commercial space and 319 jobs and generate more than $1.7 <br />millioi� in new taxes annually ance the area is cleaned and building is completed. <br />
