Attachment A <br />City of Roseville <br />ORDTNANCE NO. <br />AN ORDINANCE ADDING <br />SECTIQN 501.05 <br />THE CITY O�' RO�EVILLE ORDAINS: <br />SECTION 1: Chapfer 5ix of the Roseville City Code is amended ta add a n�w Section 601.05 as <br />follows: <br />601.45: TRAFFIC CONTRQL DEVICES <br />The placement and maintenaz�ce oi traffic control de�ices on roads under the juriscl�ctian of the City is <br />necessary ta carry out the provisians in the Minnesota Traffic Code, Minn. Stat. Ch. 169, and in arder <br />to regulate, wai7� and guide traffic utilizing City roads. There is hereby created a Traffic Safety <br />Committee consisting of the City Manager, Director of Public Works, and Chief of Police. The Traffic <br />Safety Committee shall have the follawi�zg autlaority: <br />a. to i�vestigate and study all matters relating to vehicular traffic conditions including but <br />not limited io parking, speed, tra��ic contral, and traffic safety hazards. <br />b. to i�plement and provide for the installatian of whatever traf�c control devices are <br />necessary to improve and promote traffic safety and prnperly manage the use of City <br />roads. <br />c. to study and recommend io otl�er road authoriti�s maintaining roadways within ihe City <br />corrective measures that may be deemed necessary to address traff c issues that may <br />�xist as to those autharities' roads within the City. <br />,SECTI�N 2: Effective date.
