Mr. LoBaido noied ongoing improvements in increased communication between busin�ss owners and ihe RVA; encauraging major events into the community (i.e., sponsorship of the Women's Baridy Championship now going on); OVAL mee�ing space marketing; and other financzal involvements ihrough destinatian marketzng. Mr. LoBaido reviewed specific plan� for 2006, including an updated visitor's guide; a holiday get-away program; RVA events (i.e., anticipated 2007 jazz event involving high school competition}; and utilizing the RVA newsletter. Mr. LoBaido encauraged Cauncilmembers and citizens to bring items gleaned from other conveniion bureaus to the RVA's aitention for possible future consideratian. 8.
