The Comrnission may make such cantracts and take <br />such other action as it deems necessary and appropria�te to accamplish <br />�he gener�al pt�rposes o� tf�e arganizatian. <br />Sectior� 3. The Carnr�ission shall ur�dertake ta identify matters of <br />comrr�or� concern to the rr�em�ers a€�d shall recommend a course of <br />ac�iGn to be pursued by the mernbers in the grar�ting and enforcement <br />of cable televisiar� frar�chises_ in tF�at cannection it shall consider <br />and ma�e recornmendatians on whether the members should have <br />unifarm ordinances, whether they shc�uld undertake tQ grant a Frar�- <br />chzse to t�e same party anc! whether they should establish a <br />cant�rzuing organization to adrniniste.r and eni�orce ar�y franc�ise or <br />�ranchises wi�ich are granted by the mernb�rs. <br />5ection 4. The Cnmmission may prepare and recommend suital�le <br />docurnants far �se in �he g�anting of �r�nchises by Ct�e members. In <br />the event that the mem�ers deiermine tn p�rsue a �ommon or a jaint <br />cout-se ofi action in the granting a�' franchises �he Commission may <br />assist in the carrying oUt of such joint or commnn cnurse of action. <br />Sectian 5. The Comr-nission may accept gifts, apply for and use <br />grants, � enter into agreements required in cor�nection therewith and <br />�old, use and dispose af money or proper�ty received as a gift or <br />grant in accordance with t�e terrns thereof. <br />6 <br />
