The <br />goals for the PiP are: <br />1. To repair and replace any park faeilities and re[ated amenities that <br />is in need of repair �ecause of their age and candition. <br />2. To bring all park facilities up �o city code and #o meet recognized <br />safety standar�s in a11 city parks. <br />3. Ta insure that afl par�cs are used ta their fulfest �oten�iaf while <br />pro#ectin� natural resources ar�d open space. <br />4. Ta increas� the aes#hefiics af all Roseville parks. <br />5. To make upgrades, enhancements and replacements without <br />incurring unusual costs for rehabil[tation or redevelopment. <br />fi. To make impro�emenis based on the most up-to-date professiona[ <br />standards. <br />The PIP process is as follows; <br />1. A�i impro�emen#s wil� meet th� laiest app�apria�e safety <br />requirements, municipal and state codes and professional <br />standards. <br />2. Sfiaff will review praposed work with the Parks and Recreat[on <br />Commission. <br />3. lmpra�ements will �e designed to meet requir�d s�andards and <br />minimize andlor reduce maintenance procedures currently <br />required. <br />4. T�e majority of the reconstruc�iorr �abor vvil� be contracted allouving <br />park maintenance staff to concen�rate on regular maintenance <br />concerns. <br />5. An environme�lta! analysis wili be conducted before a <br />re�e�e�opment proposal is comple�ed. <br />7. Standard procedures will be used for drawing specifications, <br />aduertising for bids, receiving qufltes and awarding contracts. <br />
