City Council Regular Meeting — 02/27/06 DRA.FT Minutes - Page 31 14. were serving respectively on the North Suburban Communications Commission (NSCC) and Ramsey County League of Local Governments (RCLLG); and sought Council discussion as to their continuation in those roles. Both Councilmembers Kough and Ihlan expressed their desire to continue their service. Mayor Klausing noted that Councilmember Pust had expressed an interest in serving in a liaison role to the Roseville School District Board and Planning Commission. Councilmember Maschka opined the need for the City to resume their regional leadership role and discuss that role as part of future planning issues. Councilmember Ihlan noted that the City was entitled to two board delegates on the RCLLG, and the meetings were open to all Councilmembers; and suggested the Council may wish to consider appointment of another delegate or an alternate. Councilmember Pust expressed her willingness to serve where ever needed. Mayor Klausing, with Council consensus, appointed Councilmember Pust to serve as a delegate to the RCLLG; and concurred with Councilmember Maschka's comment regarding the City's need to be a part of the broader and regional solutions. John Kysylyczyn, 3083 N Victoria Street Mr. Kysylyczyn opined that the reason for getting out of regional organizations was due to the historical dismal attendance record of Roseville representatives. Mayor Klausing advised that future decisions could be made related to an alternate for the NSCC, noting that it didn't have to be a Council person.
