Weeks go by where it does ���� move. We ha�re spoken with the owner <br />about sta�g it on ��; driveway rathe� tha�� the g�eet. It presents an obstacle for snowplow <br />dxi�rexs and reduces the efficiency of plowing operations. Twice t3�is past winter the plow left a <br />�c�ge around the truck. Fortunately, �hcer P�a� not �ee�� much snow In addition, it is an eye sore <br />for neighbors and brings down the value of the s�zr�:o�.z��di�� properties. <br />Our sua:.�oun�� suburbs have r�gu�la�o��s — why does R�s�v.�l� not have such a regulation. <br />We spoke with Neal Beets, City Manager, and he feels it is not a problem, that it is a public <br />s�:�ee. The fact �1aa� it is a public sheet is c��-tair�ip hue, but is it public stora��? The question is <br />not whether a resident can �arl� vehiei�s on t��e street or even store vehicles on t€�ei9- driveway or <br />in r1�ei� garage. The question is whether it is ��aso�at�le 9:or a resident to s�or� an u.i���s�ci vehicle <br />for an extended pez�rac� on the street. <br />C��r hope is that Its�sevi�e caf�. resolve this issue in a��a����iul way.
