Bob Willmus, 2932 Hamline Ave, south of project across street Mr. Willmus spoke in opposition to the future land use requiring a Planned Unit Development (PUD); expressing his concern regarding the density of either proposal, and their not meeting existing standards for lots of 10,000 or greater square footage; the need to conform to the established neighborhood; and consistency with front yard setback requirements to those established homes. 10. Discuss Storage of Vehicles on Streets Councilmember Kough requested that this item be considered at this time to accommodate those audience members wishing to address the Council regarding the storage of vehicles on City streets. Ms. Suzanne VanDeusen, 2017 Wheeler Street, had provided a written complaint regarding abuse and enforcement of vehicles on City streets; and sought resolution from the City Council. Ms. VanDeusen was present and summarized her concerns. Councilmember Kough requested that this item be referred to the recently-appointed Council Parking Subcommittee, consisting of Councilmembers Kough and Ihlan, for their recommendation to the City Council for a solution to these types of ongoing situations. Councilmember Ihlan thanked Ms. VanDeusen for bringing the matter to the Council's attention; opining that this served as another example of a gap in the City's current parking ordinance and should necessitate the Council's review of that ordinance, seeking comparisons with other communities and their ordinances. Councilmembers Kough and Ihlan agreed to undertake a comprehensive review of the City's parking regulations and report back to the City Council. Storage of Vehicles on Streets
