City Council Regular Meeting — 03/27/06 <br />DRAFT Minutes - Page 9 <br />of the City of Roseville, extended sympathy and great <br />appreciation for the leadership and l�indness of former <br />Mayor Linebarger. <br />Pust moved, Maschka seconded, presentation of the <br />proclamation as read by Mayor Klausing, in appreciation of <br />Gale Linebarger's distinguished service and outstanding <br />leadership to the City of Roseville. <br />Mayor Klausing expressed his personal appreciation to <br />Mayor Linebarger as an example of community leaders, <br />expressed his humility in serving the community, and <br />observed that current community leaders truly stood on the <br />shoulders of those who came before and had the foresight <br />to make the decisions required to move the City forward. <br />Councilmember Maschka expressed his personal and <br />respectful condolences to the Linebarger family for their <br />loss; and on a note of interest, observed that Mr. Linebarger <br />had immediately preceded another former Roseville Mayor, <br />June Demos, also recently deceased. Councilmember <br />Maschka spoke of former Mayor Linebarger's outstanding <br />leadership and the framework he set in place for the City's <br />current parks and other community amenities. <br />City Manager Beets noted that the Council would be <br />provided notice when arrangements were finalized for the <br />service; and further noted that a dozen long-stemmed roses <br />had been sent on behalf of the community and City <br />Council. <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Maschka; Pust; Ihlan; Kough and Klausing. <br />Nays: None. <br />7. Public Hearing for County Road C, Phase TI, Reconstruction <br />and Streetscape improvement <br />Ramsey County Engineer Dan Soler, Roseville City Engineer <br />Deb Bloom, and Public Works Director Duane Schwartz were <br />present to review this project. <br />On a side note, Mayor Klausing congratulated Mr. Soler, as a <br />Resolution 10390 <br />Resolution 10391 <br />Public Hearing for <br />County Road C, <br />Ordering Phase II, <br />Streetscape & <br />Reconstruction <br />
