City Council Regular Meeting — 03/27/06 DRAFT Minutes - Page 9 of the City of Roseville, extended sympathy and great appreciation for the leadership and l�indness of former Mayor Linebarger. Pust moved, Maschka seconded, presentation of the proclamation as read by Mayor Klausing, in appreciation of Gale Linebarger's distinguished service and outstanding leadership to the City of Roseville. Mayor Klausing expressed his personal appreciation to Mayor Linebarger as an example of community leaders, expressed his humility in serving the community, and observed that current community leaders truly stood on the shoulders of those who came before and had the foresight to make the decisions required to move the City forward. Councilmember Maschka expressed his personal and respectful condolences to the Linebarger family for their loss; and on a note of interest, observed that Mr. Linebarger had immediately preceded another former Roseville Mayor, June Demos, also recently deceased. Councilmember Maschka spoke of former Mayor Linebarger's outstanding leadership and the framework he set in place for the City's current parks and other community amenities. City Manager Beets noted that the Council would be provided notice when arrangements were finalized for the service; and further noted that a dozen long-stemmed roses had been sent on behalf of the community and City Council. Roll Call Ayes: Maschka; Pust; Ihlan; Kough and Klausing. Nays: None. 7. Public Hearing for County Road C, Phase TI, Reconstruction and Streetscape improvement Ramsey County Engineer Dan Soler, Roseville City Engineer Deb Bloom, and Public Works Director Duane Schwartz were present to review this project.
