Brainstormin� Sessions <br />• The Council will sponsor two brainstorming sessions at which citizens will <br />identify the broact topic areas that they wish to address through the <br />.'�� <br />Visioning process. <br />. Broad announcementslinvitations to the community to participate — goal of <br />300 participants. <br />. Two dates <br />. Electronic participation encouraged. <br />. Each participant will be encouraged to applylcomple�e statement of interest <br />for one of the resulting Subcommittees through a standardized, brief <br />application process. <br />�S�bcon�mittaes <br />. One Council member appointed as liaison to facilitate contacts with staff — <br />doesn't sewe directly on the Subcommittee and has no vote <br />. One Advisory Commission ChairlDesigz�ee or other citizen— specific to interest <br />area — named as Temporary Chair to organize and lead the first meeting of <br />the Subcommittee. <br />. At first meeting, each Subcommittee will elect its own chair from its <br />members. Can be, but not limited to, the Temporary Chair. <br />M�mbershi� of each Subcommittee <br />. 10-15 citizens — at least 5 of which represent specific community organizations <br />who will agree to solicit input from the organization (Examples: NSSC, Roseville <br />Citizens League, Rotary, Kiwanis, Lions, faith community groups, PTSAs, <br />School District, County, LWV, organizations representing communities of color <br />(not limited to ABE, ESL, others), Retired Teachers Assoc., governing boards at <br />senior living facilities, business leaders, Gavel Club, student leadership <br />organizations (collegeslRAIIS), new residents, etc.) <br />
