City Council Regular Meeting — 04/24/06 DRAFT Minutes - Page 14 5. : Item 3.p} At the request of Mayor Klausing, City Manager Beets briefly reviewed the request that Jim Stark be appointed for the remainder of Rouse Farnham's term (to expire at the end of 2006); due to the resignation of Mr. Farnham due to health reasons. Mr. Beets noted that staff had advertised for the vacancy as required by State Statute, with only one application received, that of Mr. Stark. Mr. Beets briefly outlined the expertise that Mr. Stark brought to the position. Kough moved, Pust seconded, reappointment of Jim Stark to the Grass Lake Watershed Management Organization Board, with a term to expire December 31,2006. Recognitions, Donations, Communications S.a Prociamation of Days of Remembrance for Victims of the Holocaust, Apri123 — 30,2006 Ihlan moved, Kough seconded, proclaiming April 23 to Apri130, 2006 to be Days of Remembrance in the City of Roseville for remembrance of the victims of the Holocaust, and to reflect on the need for respect of all people and to practice all diligence to overcome intolerance and indifference through learning and remembrance.
