ORDINANCE N0.1279 <br />AN ORDINANCE ANIINDING TITLE 10, SECTION 1002, DEFINITIONS AKD SECTION <br />1005, BUSINESS DISTRICTS SPECIFICLY REGARDING RESTAURANTS <br />TI� CITY OF ROSEUII,LE ORDAINS: <br />SECTION l. Purpose. The Roseville City Code, Title 10, Section 1002 and 1005, is hereby <br />amended by adding or revising language necessary to define restaurant types and to specify <br />which restaurants are permissible (p�rtnit�act. andlar conditional) within Business Districts of the <br />Roseville City Code. The purpose of this ordinance is to provide clarity :regazd�ng restaurant <br />types and to locate said types within the most appropriate Business District. <br />SECTION 2. Section 1002.02 (Definitions)is herebyamended. The existing"Restaurant" <br />definition i s hereby deleted and replaced with the following: <br />A. Restaurant, Class I— Traditional: An establishmentwhere customers are served <br />their food in or on non-disposable dishes to be consumed primarily while seated <br />at tables or booths within a building and which does not serve liquor. Traditional <br />restaurants may also be a ca£�, cafeteria or buffet, coffee shop, anc�lor deli. Drive- <br />through facilities are not allowed. <br />B Restaurant, Class lI — Fast Food Convenience: An establishmentwhere <br />customers are served their food from a counter or in a motor vehicle, in <br />disposable packages prepared to leave the premises or to be tal{en to a table or <br />booth for consumption on the premises. Fast Food Convenience can be a caf�, <br />coffee shop, and/or deli. Fast Food Convenience can include drive-through <br />facilities. <br />C. Restaurant, Class TII — Traditional wl�ntox3c�ii�g/�otz��ato�ica�ng (3.2 <br />beer, var�e a�dJar strong beer): An establishmentwhere customers are served <br />their'food in or on non-disposabledishes to be consumedprimarily while seated <br />at tables or booths within a building and which has a license to serve only beer <br />and wine. <br />D. Restaurant, Class IV — Traditional wlOa-�aMe Liquor Service (full service <br />bar): An establishment where customers are served their food in or on non- <br />within a building that is licensed to serve on-sale liquor which are consumed on <br />the premises. This type of restaurant may offer as an accessory use ta1{e-out and <br />/or deli facilities, live entertainment or dancing. <br />E. Restaurant, Class V— Drive-In: An establishmentthat serves food in or on <br />either disposable or non-disposable dishes where customers primarily order and <br />consume food within their vehicles. <br />
